Ben here yesterday I click on a tournament without realizing that it is a "DEEP" but as it was in "late register" (last minute) just clicked I find myself at the table ... and there I see my big stack and I understand that's not what I wanted! ;-(
I'm almost never DEEP because they are too long, unless play on the big buyin (over 50E) because they are tired ;-). And we must calculate the time of play and gain potential that forces us to "hold" to get paid in under 6 hours of play and mini until 12 pm depending on level !!...
What is top of course his fault! Let me explain it more in length, more prints for us more opportunity to touch, etc. ... the game is better, poker is in DEEP! And the atmosphere is better than (according to table) as necessary to bump the same players for hours!
I slept QQ 5 times that came a K or A on the flop with raiseurs! also lying KK 1 time with a straight draw and a flop in allin fufu, etc. .... in deep thought about it because it has more + more + time .... and I touched 9:20 game only once AA (won a small stack)! ! My biggest gains were made with "garbage" that nobody expected the flop for cheap because they blind little afford to play wider ..... In short, I was first for over the past 5 hours then drops to the FT then I pass the second and third with jumps pair Q cons AA pocket (really QQ tonight get me pissed strongly)!
The blinds are virtually invisible! For example after 9:20 game with blinds at 3,000 stacks of each, between 150,000 and 500,000! Imagine a guy who was 300 000 which goes "missing" it is not ready to jump ;-))
short performance time, for my little gain (and not at all unusual) of 8 Euro per hour or a minimum hourly wage ... (for 72E - 5th at 9:20!) The first was 250 E 11 am in the game is only 23E per hour ...
So you'll understand a DEEP Buyin with less than 50E is not interesting. I will look better next time before you click on a "late register".
ps: the problem is that we saw the time spent playing some of the drink turned to beer, some whiskey and some in firecracker, one FT failed to finish under the table - ))))))
